TJ Services Site Solutions offers a range of roll-off dumpster sizes to meet different needs. Our selection includes 10-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, and 40-yard dumpsters.
The amount of waste restrictions varies by size: the 10-yard dumpster can hold up to 2 tons, the 20-yard up to 3 tons, the 30-yard up to 4.5 tons, and the 40-yard up to 5 tons.
The space required will depend on the size of the dumpster. Our dumpsters range from 14ft to 24ft in length and are all 8ft wide. Please ensure you have an adequate space to place and access the dumpster, taking into account its roll-off mechanism.

If your dumpster is full prior to completion of your project, call us. We will arrange for a dumpster swap or an additional dumpster, depending on your needs.

When renting a roll-off dumpster, it is crucial to understand that there are restrictions on what you can dispose of due to environmental and safety regulations. Here are some common items that you cannot throw into a roll-off dumpster:
Hazardous Waste: Hazardous waste materials are a serious threat to the environment and public health. This includes materials such as pesticides, motor oil, antifreeze, refrigerants, and other types of hazardous chemicals.
Electronics: Electronic devices, often referred to as e-waste, are generally not permitted in roll-off dumpsters. This includes items like computers, televisions, and printers. Many of these items may be recycled at designated e-waste collection sites.
Appliances Containing Freon: Refrigerators, air conditioners, and other appliances that contain freon (a refrigerant) cannot be thrown away in a dumpster due to the harmful effects freon has on the ozone layer.
Tires: Tires are generally not accepted in dumpsters because they can damage landfill structures and equipment. Local tire recycling facilities typically accept old tires.
Batteries: Due to their potentially hazardous materials, most batteries – including car batteries and household batteries – cannot be thrown into a dumpster. Local recycling facilities often accept these.
Paints, Solvents, and Adhesives: These materials, including oil-based paints, thinners, and glues, contain harmful chemicals and are typically classified as hazardous waste.
Medical Waste: This includes sharps (like needles), medications, and any materials contaminated with bodily fluids. These items require specialized disposal to prevent health risks.
Asbestos: Asbestos is a carcinogenic substance and requires special handling and disposal procedures. It should not be disposed of in a standard roll-off dumpster.
Railroad Ties and Pressure-Treated Lumber: These materials are treated with chemicals that can leach into the soil and groundwater, so they are typically not accepted in roll-off dumpsters.
